Yes! Please note that the paper must comply with our submission requirements for either aspect of the journal. Refer to our submission pages for further details. Additionally, ensure that all submitted material is original and properly cited.

We will consider any article that meets our submission requirements. Our editorial board and faculty advisors use a double-blind evaluation system to review and discuss each submission. We seek papers with a strong thesis and sound legal interpretation or political analysis.

Our annual journal edition is published every May and is exclusively for undergraduate submissions.

Yes! Submissions from U.S. undergraduates are eligible for our annual journal publication.

In addition to meeting our criteria, papers submitted before the November deadline will be considered for publication. If your paper is selected for publication, you will receive an acceptance letter and contract via email. Once the contract is signed, we will assign an editor to work with you, aiming to revise while preserving the essence of your original work.

High school students cannot submit articles. However, as of Fall 2024, high school students will be allowed to submit blogs. The UPLJ also offer the Women's History Month Essay Contest for high school students (grades 9-12).
